Installation

  • Download this patch.
  • Open both zips and drag the assets folder from this patch to the main PureBDcraft pack.

  • GUIs are no longer downscaled to reduce issues that occur when button are not where they should be.
  • Massive Ars Magica 2 Update: I have finally put some effort in getting all the stuff together from AM2 as there is no real patch right now as it is no longer maintained. If you are interested in taking it over please click here. These textures are currently not being re-sized as there are multiple sizes in the patch.
  • New breaking sound for Dartcraft as the normal on is really ugly and annoying.
  • New Paxel texture: I took these over from the Paxel Mod as I personally didn't like the Mekanism ones due to multiple resizes making them look bad.
  • Added Thermal Expansion textures from the mods page directly which should hopefully solve the black stuff some people are getting.
  • Meta file patch included

I've been trying to make the pack with textures that have been submitted here, but when I got to load the pack up it won't load. I don't know what I'm missing in the pack that's making it not load. Shall I upload what I have done so far? And have I posted this in the right section?

Also I changed the install note because you should never give Minecraft 4G of PermSize... it's only for classes (i.e. Java code). It won't hold anything else and it doesn't even exist in Java 8.

Your game does not have enough RAM allocated to it. Check the installation section for details.

Why not set up a torrent for this? I'm currently downloading the x128, and I have 7 hours left. Just a thought coming out of a madman's head.

I've always wondered about torrents for modpack patches, but I imagine most people would just hit and run and it'd either kill the torrent or you'd be left with the initial seeder just trickling it.

I take it you're getting slow speeds only with Mediafire? Their mirrors seem to have intermittent issues. Sometimes I get full 3MB/s sometimes I get 20-60kb/s.

Just keep trying every few hours (or maybe Turinator95 can mirror it somewhere like copy.com?).

K, I got the 32x in a matter of minutes, LOTS of buggy textures. The in-game IRC chat gave me a link to a hi-res sphax, with most textures for the mods. That took about 10 minutes to download, so I don't know why this one took longer. Still, as this gets more and more content, I'm sure the torrent would stay strong enough to be faster than normal.

I running into a problem hope someone can help. I have followed all the directions for installing. But when I go to switch resource packs, it wont load the new one. It shows up, but won't actually load. I tried allocating up 10GB of RAM, any other ideas? Thank you
