Dear BDcraft users,

As you can see the forum has changed for our sake.

The old forum system (powered by Drupal) was a bit too old and some features were missing or bugged.
The new forum system (powered by PHPBB) has a lot new useful features. This will allow you and us to upgrade our experience of the BDcraft Community. However, migrating a forum system to another one, totally different, needs some little sacrifices. Therefore, the active accounts are automatically migrated and the most useful topics were also migrated (I should tell you that this was hard :p). However, all the comments and support topics were not migrated.

Of course, the old forums will remain readable without changing any URL or access but it will not be possible to post on it anymore.

Important note: If you have problem to login, be sure to login first on the BDcraft website. Then, your account will be migrated and you'll be able to login on the forum.

What you should do

Users Profiles
Some information from your user profile are automatically migrated but most are not.
Now the froums migration is done, be sure to edit your user account and setup the missing information you want to update. Also, be sure to edit your forum signature from which the bbcode has been disabled during the migration.
To do that, simply go to your user control panel
Private messages
The private messages system also migrated. However, the private messages will not be readable anymore after this migration. To be sure you'll not lost anything, browse your Private Messages and backup the information that need to be saved.
In case you missed something to backup after the migration, ask me and I'll be able to send you a backup of all your PM in a CSV format.
Your posts/comments on old forum
Your posts and comments on the old forum are archived. Anyone will be able to read them but no one (except BDcraft team) will be able to delete anything anymore.
If you absolutely want to delete a post you've made in the old archived forum, ask a moderator to delete it for you.
If you want to migrate some of your topics from a specific category to its corresponding one on the new forum, ask a moderator to do so.
If you think that more than 3 of your topics from a specific cateogory should be migrated to the new forum, ask me (Sphax).
Only the opening post will be migrated. None of the following replies will be migrated.

Some new features

Some of the new things you'll find in this new forum:
- New clean look of the community forums
- WYSIWYG editor for posts and private messages
- Quick reply for all topics
- Possibility to set an answer as solving the issue in the support forums
- Possibility to set an icon for the new topics
- PHPBB Private Message system
- New forums for Minecraft PocketEdition, Minetest and SpaceMade games
- Better groups management
- Automatic fetch of double posts
- Optimization for Mobile devices
- Compatibility with Tapatalk app (available for free on iPhone, iPad, Android and WindowsPhone)
- And a lot more!

I really hope you'll have fun in this new forum and continue to be as awesome as you alway been. ;)

-Sphax
