There is a bug in the smooth sandstone stairs when you activate the custom colors. (if you have optifine)
The ladder does not turn the same color as everything else.
(I don't really know if it's a bug)

And I thought I'd been really careful when updating the Custom Colours list

If you want to fix it yourself for now you can edit /assets/minecraft/optifine/color.properties and add the block name to the line beginning:

This is fixed in the latest release of the pack.
