So I installed the grunge texture pack mixed with pure bdcraft. Everything grunge didn't have I used bdcraft for. The problem was when I went to the nether, the netherrack looked like a purple and black checkered pattern. When I went to go look in my texture pack folder. The netherrack texture was there, looking as it should. I also noticed there was a file netherrack.png.meta. I do not have any optifine or any mods installed in the game. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Delete the netherrack.png.mcmeta file.

The GrungeBD netherrack isn't an animation like the PureBD one is so when you combine the zips you're confusing Minecraft.
