the patch for IC2 does not work for me. Please help.
I follow all instructions and nothing happens
Just saying "it doesn't work" is unhelpful, you need to state exactly what you tried; what Minecraft version you're using; which version of the mod; how you tried to install the patch.

Posting your latest.log from the logs folder to Dropbox wouldn't hurt either.

My game is defaulting even though I have plenty of RAM and only 30 mods, I have 8GB running with Minecraft and can't afford to allocate more, is something wrong with my system or the packs? (Sphax Pure 512x, Biomes O' Plenty 128x, Galacticraft 64x, Tinkers Construct 64x are the packs I'm trying to run)

I should have said I am on a Mac.
/Library/Application Support/minecraft This does not get me anywhere useful at all, I'm afraid.
All I want to do is delete PureBD and get on with playing mine craft as usual.
There must be a way!
Please help!
Thank you
The ~/Library folder is hidden by default on Macs, there are settings to show hidden files in Finder however.

When Minecraft loads it stitches all the block and item texture in to one big image called a texture atlas. The 512x PureBDcraft pack uses nearly all of that atlas by itself.

You'll need to use a lower resolution for the base pack. As you're using BoP 128x I'd recommend 128x for Pure, too, so you don't get jarring visual disparity between biomes.

See the "Blocks of the same kind that appear to have different shades (e.g. Stone, Ores, Sand, etc...)" section of the first post.

Thank you very much. I was playing in a different language and it was difficult to understand which setting is responsible for this item. I'm sorry that I didn't check it in English right away. I finally solved this problem after so many years. I love your resource pack!

A screenshot of your resourcepacks screen and posting ypur latest.log from when you try to use the packs would be useful to help work out the problem.
