FPS Stuttering When Using BDCraft v1.13

Heya

So I used BDCraftx256 1.12 with no problems prior to the 1.13 patch to Minecraft. I just gave Minecraft 1.13 a go for the first time today and everything worked smooth as expected at first. However as soon as I loaded in the updated 1.13 BDCraft texture pack, I get a repeating endless FPS stutter.
It plays for 1 second, then freezes for one second, and repeats endlessly. This even persists through the single-player menu screen.
If I remove the pack the game runs perfectly fine, and I have tried both x256 (My usual) and x128 with no noticeable difference. I run a vanilla client with no adjustments on Win10 with the latest update of Java (Just updated today actually).

My GoogleFu has failed me on this, so any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

It seems in general MC1.13 has caused more stuttering for a lot of people.

OptiFine will likely smooth the experience back out once it's updated, but for now you can try adding some Java arguments in your launcher's settings:

Code: Select all

-XX:+UseG1GC -Dsun.rmi.dgc.server.gcInterval=2147483646 -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=32M
