When stacking half slabs the full slab is a different type, water is invisible from certain angles

First, when you stack two stone brick half-slabs to make one full block, the final block is sandstone, not stone brick. It changes sometimes but is never the correct block.

Second, when you look at water from certain angles the water turns completely invisible.

The double slabs changing is explained in the ExOF thread: addons-f50/extra-optifine-t5632.html

The water disappearing is an issue in OptiFine. Try disabling VBOs in the option.
