buildcraft not working

I downloaded Pure BDCraft and the patch for Tekkit legends, but all vanilla MC blocks stayed in the original texture. I tried downloading the 128x instead of the 512 but that didn't change anything either.

Your topic title compared to your post text is a little contradictory.
In regards to your title: In what way is Buildcraft not working?
As for the topic text, are you sure you downloaded the version of PureBDcraft for MC1.7.10? Are you sure you placed both the PureBDcraft main pack and Tekkit Legends pack in the resourcepacks folder and activated both in the resourcepacks screen?
