Hi there. Recently my friends and I have been playing All the Mods 3 Remix on an akliz server I have. Long sorry short before details; with resource pack I can launch and play the game but the game will hard freeze within 5 minutes and force me to alt tab close it.

I run a pretty decent PC with a 1070ti and 24gb of RAM. I have Minecraft using 12gigs since atm requires a hefty bit.

I've downloaded the atm3 remix sphax pack as well as the Minecraft 1.12 (the version atm uses) sphax pack both at x64. I put the contents of the atm pack into the base pack and put that into my resource packs folder. As I said before I can run the game and everything looks fine and dandy until the game hard freezes on me. I've tried both using and not using optifine. And this is a hard issue to search for online or on forums since I'm not exactly "crashing" and the results I find are for other problems.

Is there some really small step I'm missing? Do I need to do something server side? I'm not super versed on troubleshooting Minecraft. Any help would be appreciated.

Judging by your description of what you've done you've not missed anything especially.

Your latest.log from the logs folder of when the crash occurs may be useful though. Although I suspect your assigned RAM may just be filling up over time.
