lag with an 1060 6gb and a i5-4440

For some reason Nvidia cards are having weird issues lately.

Make sure your graphics drivers are up-to-date and maybe try using OptiFine.

i have optifine and drivers are the last one on the nvidia page

I can only suggest you use lower resolution textures.

I don't have a Nvidia card to figure out why people are having issues, and the few other poeple who have had issues have stated updating drivers fixed it for them.
