Textures not loading

For whatever reason, the textures in-game aren't loading. I have tried both regular and vanilla resource packs, changed shaders and even turned them off but I'm seeing vanilla and missing textures. The packs themselves seem fine and the seemingly missing textures in fact are still in the pack. Other resource packs do work properly. I have optifine.

What could be the problem here?

Which version of Minecraft are you playing? What's the filename of the zip you're using?

1.12.2 (forge) is the version of the game. I used the newest versions for those resource packs.

The newest version of what resourcepacks? I asked for the filename for a specific reason as it tells me what version of the pack you downloaded.

I suspect you downloaded the pack for MC1.14, which won't work.

Ahhh... My bad. After your first response I was like thinking for a while like wait... maybe I should just try 1.12 versions for all of these resource packs and that actually worked, simple as that. I wasn't expecting texture names randomly changing between versions like that, why is that though?
But thanks anyway. Like I said, everything works flawlessly now!
