Smooth Diamond Sword

So today I installed BDcraft, but I didn't particularly like the diamond sword texture. I found the ExOF addon and installed that. I put the ExOF above the BDcraft in minecraft

and tried renaming my sword to "Smooth Diamond Sword" as instructed but it didn't seem to work.

Unless the texture is changed and I just can't tell, but I wasn't able to find any screenshots of what the smooth diamond sword looks like, so I don't know. I have a feeling that's not what it looks like though. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Yep I definitely have it installed, and I also checked to make sure I had the latest version and i do. Also it seems the diamond armor has the same issue where it isn't changing texture when I rename it. And I noticed I didn't say what version I'm in so if it changes anything I'm in 1.14.4.

I just tested it and it works fine.

Make sure in your Options > Video Settings > Quality > Custom Items is "On".

Strange, Custom Items was turned on, so I tried turning it off and then back on again, but it still doesn't work for me.

Oh I figured it out. ExOF isn't compatible with the 3D items addon. For whatever reason ExOF textures don't overwrite the 3D items textures, even though I had ExOF above 3D items. However even when I remove the 3D items addon the diamond armor still doesn't work.

Ah, that's odd that it doesn't change with 3D Items. I'll take a look at that.

What diamond armour are you trying? The items don't change currently, just the worn pieces.

Oh you know what, I forgot that it said that armor only works when worn. That's my bad on the armor. Thanks for the help!

I've fixed the "Smooth Diamond Sword" with 3D Items now. If you red/l the addon.
