Resolution on realms will not go below 128x

I am on Bedrock Edition and no matter what I do, the resolution stays at the max with Vanilla BDCraft. My friend is on mobile and his phone can't handle that, so I'd like to get the aesthetic of BD while retaining his ability to play with me. Any tips?

If you're having trouble changing resourcepack options on Realms then following the steps in our Troubleshooting guide for "Broken / Purple & Black textures on Realms" might help you.

This does not work. Textures stay at highest res on Realm.

There's not really any other information I can give you.

No one else is complaining about the issue.
