Exporting to .png

Hello, I'd first like to say that I've been having a lot of fun using this program so far. I've been trying to find an alternative to illustrator for tweening purposes and this seems to do p much all the things I need at a fraction of the cost, so thanks for that!

A problem I'm running into however is that I'd like to preserve the transparency of some of the files I'm inputting. On export they come out as .bmp (which I dont think can have alpha channels(?)) and I can try to magic wand the background color away, but it leaves a noticeable outline and/or removes the softness of the sprite's lines.

I probed the program the best I could and combed though the forum, but I couldn't figure out a way around it. Is their a option or ability to export with the transparency of the og files still intact?

Thanks in advance
