Simple ore generation

Really all I want is to have other resource packs that cover the equivalent ores in this mod recognize them and apply the texture. I'm not sure if there is an easy way to do that or if a new pack needs to be made all together. I wish there was just a universal ore resource pack that would be able to see and apply copper ore texture to every entry for copper ore in the game and then so on for each other ore

More than making a pack for this mod specifically I just really want to see the universal pack for ores, is that even possible? One that will just recognize all copper ore in the game and give them the same texture?
