Yeah I found that out 40 minutes into uploading the commit. Damn GitHub! (It was the backgrounds which I took from Hubble - shh ... don't tell anyone).Laruae wrote:Yeah, I uhh had to decrease the size of some of my PSDs, hit the 50MB limit >.>
I think I have one fixed so, wait for me to upload my commit. It'll take a while.Laruae wrote:The Thaumnomicon PSD will be fixed up soon, I agree, its messy.
I agree, maybe just add Chisel since it is beautiful - Han did a great job (along with others!).Laruae wrote:I'd also like to see if we can keep the screenshots to just Vanilla and Thaumcraft blocks so that they are applicable to anyone using the pack if thats possible ^^;
Why not, that's why I set up GitHub!Sparkst3r wrote:Oh no not another commit, i've just been arguing with git over why I can't pull the latest commits. I don't need more. D:
Sad to say, but I don't think that's going to work. I won't name the PSDs the same as PNGs. There will be similar names but I wont make a PSD for every single PNG (looking at you).Sparkst3r wrote:Hehe, i'm busy with python to make a script to check whether a psd exists for a file in the TC4 vanilla assets folder. Hopefully should help working out what and what isn't textured.
Sadly, yes. I'm aware of that, though hopefully I can keep the size down. I've removed my Workspace folder from the OP, but I've kept my PSDs since I have like 25GB in Copy!Aedaeum wrote:@Crumbl3d I'm not sure if you're aware, but github free accounts only allow a gigabyte of storage.
Looking fancy! Maybe just remove that spike at the top, and keep it kinda rounded.Sparkst3r wrote:Made a new Amber item, I hadn't made a good job of the previous one, frankly it was terrible XD
*uses these PSDs for greedy things ... muahahahaha!Laruae wrote:Here's a Google Drive folder of all the textures and PSDs I've got sitting around. Some of them are for Thaumcraft addons but most are for Thaumcraft 3/4. Along side the textures, there is a Photoshop Shapes file for the Thaumcraft runes in the Misc PSD folder. Some WIP textures as well, don't judge mah!
I don't get on well with git.crumbl3d wrote:Why not, that's why I set up GitHub!Sparkst3r wrote:Oh no not another commit, i've just been arguing with git over why I can't pull the latest commits. I don't need more. D:
But.... it's so convenient and easy to batch process and I dont have to guess which file an item is in rather than search by filename. The ComputerCraft terrain.psd from MC1.3 with EVERY texture in.... it was 400MB. D:crumbl3d wrote:Sad to say, but I don't think that's going to work. I won't name the PSDs the same as PNGs. Less spike more round?crumbl3d wrote:Looking fancy! Maybe just remove that spike at the top, and keep it kinda rounded.Sparkst3r wrote:Made a new Amber item, I hadn't made a good job of the previous one, frankly it was terrible XD

If by vanilla thaumcraft you mean default Azanors textures than no, I want the screenshots from the dev patch.shuttleshooter wrote:so crumbled, sorry to ask it again but, do you want screenshots of vanilla thaumcraft or from the textured version (or both)
What's wrong with git, it's awesome! I think it's better than svn!Sparkst3r wrote:I don't get on well with git.
Nope, I don't think it is convenient to have 10 PSDs for one single item with various alterations. Take foci for example, or wand rods. I'll make something to manage that better.Sparkst3r wrote:But.... it's so convenient and easy to batch process and I dont have to guess which file an item is in rather than search by filename. Now it's a bit over the top. Maybe compress it into a cylinder similar to what it looked like before. Keep in mind you'll have to make an ore that has similar shapes!Sparkst3r wrote:Less spike more round?
