Just out of curiosity everybody is there any difference between Daverball's patch and plowmanplow's patch? It looks like Daverball's is the newest one as of July 23rd but I'm not positive. Seems they're both for 1.4.7 correct?

plowmanplow's patch is for 1.5.1. Mine should be the most recent version for 1.4.7, and includes some very rough 64px only versions of some of the items, before I decided to properly work on the textures instead of waiting for the patch to finish on its own.

Before i go back to the items though I want to finish all the machines, after all there's only four left to do for the 1.4.7 version at least.

Ohhhh gotcha Daverball. Thanks very much for the info. I was sitting here super-confused. Definitely love your latest work on the last few machines that you put in your previous post. I'll keep checking back to download as you complete the last remaining stuff. I know alot of people that are eagerly awaiting the completed patch. I'm not too great with photoshop (last time I really did it was back in High School!) but if there's anything I can help with feel free to let me know. I should be able to handle at the very least resizing packs from 512x down to other resolutions.

As far as resizing goes, I think that is pretty well covered (although any offer of help is always appreciated). I have a set of scripts set up on my Linux box so that when some awesome person like Daverball makes a new texture at 512x I just have to drop it in the right place (after making the rest of the sides for the machines in 1.5.x... there are 12 textures for every machine in 1.5.x+ MFR) and run my "makemfrzips.sh". That duplicates the 512x textures to folders for the other resolutions, iterates through all the block and item textures (I always leave the GUIs full size) and resizes them to the appropriate resolution. If anyone wants to see the script, here is a link:

I've made textures for both the item and the liquid router, enjoy~

(For the sides i've only attached one of the four colors, so the preview isn't too blown up, as usual you can find all the necessary textures in my dropbox)

Ok, so I was checking out the archived topic for MINEFACTORY RELOADED

I still don't understand where to place the folder in the the downloads section.

Got the files from 1.4.7 64x, but don't know the path when I place it in the texturepacks folder.

is it /wecrystals
or
/minefactoryreloaded
or what?

It seems dropbox sometimes cuts off the name of the base directory, its supposed to be /powercrystals, not /wecrystals

Should be up to date with everything posted so far.

I had issues with this as well. Apparently it gets finicky if the link in questions is a long link like that found in dropbox and other hosting services. Using tinyurl for those long links works.
