You are correct, I only recently upgraded from mindcrack FTB to unleashed FTB and for that version there are no spectacles needed.
But that does not explain why you can see it without spectacles in default texture pack tough.

Fair point. I'll take a look this weekend although ET has no leaf textures it's all controlled by Forestry.

So is this mod going to be replaced since binnie seems to be disapeared?

Binnie hasn't disappeared. He's busy with university and disappears during term time. He came back at Christmas and pushed a bug fix release.

In the summer he should be back and be releasing as normal again. If you require limited bee stuff (but not the tree stuff) you can try out Gendustry instead.

For those not aware Binnie is back and working on mods again.

He's doing Botany which will be flower breeding. No idea if it relies on Forestry or if it'll work by itself.
