Hello there.

I recently tried to compile a patch for BuildCraft 7 using existing BuildCraft 6 (CadenDonuts/DSR/Nhawks17) textures and a couple of IC2 textures (HanFox). It's not perfect, and none of the textures were created by me, I just compiled them. There are several original BuildCraft textures in the folder. This is so anyone who wants to finish it and rename some of the textures (I went with a this-looks-like-this-so-that's-what-it-probably-is) is free to do so. It's in 128x.

P.S. I am not going to be creating any textures, I've tried to make BDcraft textures before. It's ugly. Photoshop is too confusing to me. I use Paint.NET, but even with all the addons, I still can't make one. So don't ask me.

The guis are messed up, aren't they? sign... Don't you hate when modders do a major texture update and its not compatible with Sphax's previous textures.

I cannot tell you how enraging it is when they completely change the file structure. However, this new change does make sense: You know exactly what block texture goes where. Again, I don't make textures, and I never tested the resource pack I made. After creating it, I said "Screw this" and downgraded to BuildCraft 6. I don't like playing with incomplete resource packs. It irritates me so much whenever I see one block uses default while the others use the resource pack I have. I can tolerate it on blocks we don't use in-game on the server, otherwise I will go nuts.

could you do it in 64x? the mod pack I’m using doesn't like 128. (450 mods)

Dont worry... The patch is messed up anyways because of the remake of almost ALL of the textures in the mod. I've requested a better patch from Nhawks17 where all the textures are complete and good. Its going to be done within weeks.

Good to know. I only created the patch as a temporary stand-in so someone could at least have some textures. They may have been faulty and not looked proper, but hey, that's better than being stuck on BuildCraft 6 with every other mod updating its API. As soon as the new pack is finished I will remove the file from Dropbox.

I'll be working on this near the end of the month, beginning of July. I'll post updates and such with how its going and WIP downloads. Keep a lookout for them! I'll be making the textures for both Buildcraft 6 and 7 so everyone can get the goodies.

Scratch the support for Buildcraft 6. I will only be working on the Buildcraft 7 textures as I didn't know it was actually released already, thought it was still in beta. I'll be posting WIP textures in the near future of what I'm working on.

Just a quick update. I plan to have an update out sometime this week hopefully. It'll only be the Buildcraft 7 download with the textures from the previous patch applied to the new file layout. It's proving to be more difficult then expected as the textures themselves have changed completely and how they're put into the game. Keep a lookout!
