There was a "Big Doors" mod that was originally an add-on but merged into Malisis Doors for 1.12.2 (link here:
https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/big-doors ).
Could you please add Sphax-style textures for those?
Edit: I made my own textures for the big doors (except for the rusty iron door) by stitching together base bdcraft textures and down-scaling them. I'm attaching a zip of those in case you want to add them.

Han, could you replace the links in the Op as I have removed these from Mediafire. Thanks.

There is no wood_door texture file item in this patch. A screen shot would be helpful. The vanilla door textures use the block model as an item texture which I have not done in this patch.
Also, does this really change the way the door appears in the world is made or is this "The door item textures don't match in JEI thing?"

I can try to get a screenshot when I'm on my main pc, but I managed to fix it with aseprite and some gaffer tape (jk on the latter). Idk if the download link on the original post is updated to the right patch, but I clicked that and the patch I got actually added vanilla minecraft textures. The item texture I'm speaking of was the old one (with the diamond-shaped window), but it seemed stretched compared to other door item textures (off-center and wider). I wouldn't worry about this as no one else is complaining so I'm probs missing something. I'll get a screenshot to you when I next have minecraft loaded up or smth. In retrospect, I've likely downloaded an older patch.
Another Q in the meantime, do the textures still play well if I've disabled the animations for malisis?
Sorry for late response and essay.
Cheers,

Not sure if said before but I'm using the latest 1.12.2 patch.
I just tried downloading from your latest link and it's got a minecraft folder in the assets
The folder replaces the lower and upper for the oak door.
I actually had to replace these with the upper and lower from purebdcraft 32x because my texture was inverted somehow.
The thing with the door item being wide is this (I've overlayed it on spruce door item texture and vice versa)
The oak door is shorter and fatter.
