[512x - 16x] MapWriter / Opis [MC1.6 - 1.7]

MapWriter

If you can't resist walking to every corner of the world in games for no other purpose than filling your map, then this is the mod for you.

It functions like the maps in many RPG's, not only showing your immediate surroundings, but also everywhere you've been before.

Another feature is that once you are done exploring for the day you can press 'm' then 'p' to create a PNG image of everywhere you have explored!

Note

I'm well aware MapWriter and Opis aren't the same thing, but a lot of other people don't seem to know this. All Opis does is use MapWriter as the in-game map.

These are just my VoxelMap ones slightly resized to fit. Not sure why everyone is so surprised ;)

And yes, one size for all, it's just really a GUI. I'll do smaller if someone has issues, but it seems unlikely.

I've also added some minimal textures in the "basic" folder. Not sure if you can configure those in the mod so if you want them move them.

Screenshots from VoxelMap thread as I'm too lazy to move them and take screenshots (ignore the mob icons) :P

Apparently the square "basic"/alt texture didn't work correctly when moved across so I updated the zip.

There are now some _alt files in the main folder (still no idea if the basic folder even does anything anyway...).
