PowerCrystal's PowerConverters
It's here! Finally, a way to wrangle all those power systems into one central location. PowerConverters understands IC2, BuildCraft, UniversalElectricity, and Railcraft steam.

There is a version for 1.6.2 but however its not done by Powercrystals.
If you use the samrg472 version, just have to make a assets/powerconverters/textures folder and move the blocks and gui folders from this pack to that.

Sooo, PowerCrystals basically stopped development on his Power Converters and Samrg474 stopped after a short run. The same codebase is now being maintained by portablejim:
but recent versions have had the texture locations and names changed.
The switch is pretty easy to do and I'm not really sure it warrants a new thread so I'll put the 512x tweak I did here and anyone who wants to run with it and/or make it better is welcome to do so. All the UE textures (of which I swiped a couple to do the TE/RF textures) are still there but unused since it doesn't support UE (and doesn't really need to).

I'm thinking of probably redoing this at some point. It look urgh to me now. Too much bright colours.
