On occasion, I will derp together something close to a sphax patch.

Urm...
I suggest, that you only show the textures that are part of the actualy mod...
And not the Textures of all 3 mods in the threds of all of the mods.

The item is called "Blazing Cactoid". It plants and grows (and the original texture looks) very similar to cactus. You also have to smelt it once you harvest it - that gets you blaze nuggets, which you can then craft into a blaze rod.

Which was the plan (as you can see), when I had updated shots of everything. WIP and all.

For some reason the MC1.7 download has some files from the main PureBD texturepack in it. Please fix it.

These are intentional, and have been modified from the original. The original textures have a limited color palette of approximately 20-40 colors (or rather, the sphax texture pack I downloaded from this site did when I downloaded it), the ones in the patch have a full color palette. The reason for this is that when the mod author upgraded from 1.6.4, he referenced the textures for his mod items to the vanilla texture and then placed an overlay on them. With the limited color palette, the overlay does not recolor the item/block but instead makes the transparent background completely white. Previously, the items had their own textures within the mod.

I can remove them if necessary, let me know how you'd like me to proceed

You'll need to remove them as they're still visually identical.

If we let people get away with just changing the palette then it'd make a mockery of the license.

Sure, that's not a problem. Can I request that those particular textures be reviewed in the 64x Sphax pack?

Edit: minecraft folder removed
