Hello, just wondering if you could update the textures or if you are still working on it? I really want to play aether with these textures but the once that are unfinished stick out like a sore thumb. <3

Finishing off the Aether 2.

The Aether 2 is a brilliant mod, but I think it would look better in PureBDCraft, I've found a few but they're missing a few textures.

This is the latest one I could find.

Now, on to what it actually needs retextured, which actually isn't that much.

All of the mobs except the Moa which have already been textured, quite well I might add.

All the companions including their icons, the Pink Swet has already been textured, but it's item icon has not been

The gloves for all of the armours including vanilla need in game Sphax'd models and icons, the vanilla, and Obsidian armour do not need icons. The Valkyrie armour needs it's icons Sphax'd.

The foods that need to be retextured, are as follows, Dark Gummy Swet, Golden Gummy Swet, Candy Corn, Stomper Pop, Blueberry Lollipop, Orange Lollipop, Icestone Poprocks, Cocoatrice, and Wrapped Chocolates.

The only blocks that need Sphax'd, are as follows, Labyrinth Pillar, Carved Labyrinth Pillar, and Holy Stone Furnace.

The miscellaneous items are as follows, Recording #892

This may be a little trickier, but the icon for the backpack, accessories and the companion renaming all need Sphax'd, including their user interfaces.

This is all I can see while in the creative menu, the Phygg's saddle needs Sphax'd, it can be a base sphax texture I suppose.

You can download the mod launcher, or install it manually, here.

Writers note, it's about to go into 1.8, the version I am using is the latest at the time of writing.
This will be a slightly annoying thing to do, especially the mobs which has an awkward mob model named the Cog Boss.

The Pink Swet is perfect, but the other Swets are just retextured slimes, so add the Pink Swets face to them to make them more unique, or just give them appropriate faces that you feel they would suit.

There is an item, named Deadmau5 hat, but, disregard that, rename it to Mouse Ear Cap in the zip file for the Sphax Texture on the icon to appear in game, it also needs an in game model when you're wearing it.

The Flying Cows have unique textures, so please refrain from getting a base Sphax cow texture and putting it on the Flying Cows. Make them fit in with Sphax, while still actually keeping true to the base mod textures.

Make sure you're using the latest version of the Aether which is 1.7.10, as of writing.

I'd quite like to be in x128 resolution.

All the best, I hope someone could do this, it would mean a lot.
Thanks, and I wish you good luck.

64x Resize and Item Name Fixes for Current Textures

I was playing around with the sizes of textures because I'm picky about resolution. Here's the link to the most up-to-date 64x pack: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/5s6zp6anxdmz ... 40LBa?dl=0 (please note I take no credit for anything except resizing textures already created by others!)

I fixed the structures of the MC1.7 links and placed the links in the OP. I've not done any actual textures.

For future reference when providing patches please make sure the structure is correct. Not everyone realizes it's not just a simple drag/drop (in fact with MC1.7 you shouldn't even open the zips at all if they're done properly with proper structure and a pack.mcmeta ;)).

I just wanted to ask if this patch is still being worked on or if any more complete versions are available elsewhere? Great mod and great texture pack but having the last few textures incomplete is annoying.

-- edit --

Looking at the texture pack now a lot more is textured (in the files themselves) than there are in game, for example in game holystone is default texture despite a holystone texture clearly existing in the texture patch

The textures may not work, because the Aether II Publisher change the name or the place of the textures with every Update, its very annoying. :(

FireSpirit posted a release thread for Aether II that stated he'd completed the patch, but as we already have this WIP I added his link to the OP here.

I'm not sure if it's is actually entirely done so, if someone who uses the mod can check and confirm that'd be good as then we can move the thread ;)
