FTB Continuum is an expert style modpack packed with some of the latest tech mods by Feed the Beast! Majority of the recipes and intended progression that you are used to has been changed. Continuum introduces new, never before used mods to make things even more difficult and challenging. The overall goal of this pack is to extend game play by making large changes to progression throughout the mods. This pack contains a lot of custom quests to help you progress and provide tips/tricks and even rewards as you play through Continuum. Note that the quests are completely optional to play through the pack, but high suggested due to the large number of game play changes. The survival difficulty has not been changed other than the introduction of Spice of Life, however this is setup in a way where it’s not a burden to the player. Good luck and enjoy!

How to Install

Please understand this is an addon for the PureBDcraft texture patch which will need to be downloaded separately here. Place both of these in your resourcepacks folder and select both to get the textures in game.

Known issues
1. Make sure you have allocated enough RAM to the game to run a large texture pack. This will vary depending on the resolution you have selected. The numbers below are a guide and need more or less depending on your computer.

128x - This will usually require Optifine to work and at least 14 - 16 GB of RAM allocated. Optifine may cause rendering issues. If this is the case download the 64x version and remove Optifine.

64x - Allocate 8 to 10 GB.

32x - Allocate 6 - 8 GB

If after using these you still cannot get the patch to run, use a lower resolution.

2. When selecting the new packs the first time the way the Texture Atlas (The large sheet Minecraft transfers all the textures to for use in game) may not form correctly, causing textures to appear in the wrong place. Restart the game, this will let Minecraft load the textures on to a clean Texture Atlas and hopefully will fix any glitches.

3. For any other issues please see the Help Centre page.

The texture pack keeps unloading itself and I get black and purple squares.

Malminas, that means you have not allocated enough memory to minecraft. If you are unable to allocate anymore then use the 64x pack. I have assumed you are using the 128x. which is a memory hog, as you did not say which version you were on.

I have no idea. I cannot get the 128x pack to run on my machine. I allocate 10GB for the 64x pack. I only make the 128x because there are people with monster computers out there. The days of MC1.6.4 were the last time I could get 128x to work reliable. Blame minecraft and Java.
