I moved this to Work in Progress as it seems to be incomplete.

You've got a lot of original textures in your zips. You really shouldn't pack the original textures (technically due to copyright), moreover just because if they change in the mod you'll be overwriting and possibly breaking them. If they just aren't in use at all, remove them, let me know and I'll move this back to Releases.

The cooling and heating coils in the blocks folder are still low res, and should be removed, but preferably they should be made HD if they're in use.

Also gui/logo.png should be removed.

Remember, if there's anything that for whatever reason you don't feel needs a proper HD texture (such as a mod logo, or simple effects) you can just omit the texture and the game will fallback to the textures in the mod.jar.

logo png removed
updated the cool/heat coil with respective HD texture 128x/64x
yeah i dont notice the coil was very low reso, i was enlarge everything with 800% from their default reso
thanks for noticing it
: out of topic may i know the different between index mode and rgb mode in photoshop, usually i switch it to RGB mode so i can work with the texture, sometimes after finalize the file i forgot switching back to index before saving the file. well the png(rgb) seem have no problem work in game

PhotoShop opens PNGs in Indexed mode because most files don't have a colour profile saved with them. Indexed mode is basically an "optimized" variation of saving colours, trying to reduce filesize without losing quality.

You should really work and save in RGB mode as the colours will be more accurate to what you intended. Also when a texture is translated from a PNG to the graphics card it's usually converted to an uncompressed bitmap anyway (these are not the same sort as bitmaps as PhotoShop's bitmap mode).

As a note most of the textures from the main BDcraft packs are exported in 8bit RGB. The only variation to this are some textures with more than 256 colours, or textures that require semi-transparency. They are exported in 24bit RGB.

There is an action for how I export textures for the main pack in this thread: discussions-f6/photoshop-batch-resizer-t4915.html

You can read further about PhotoShop's colour modes here: https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/photoshop/us ... modes.html

I did this based on your resource pack ([128x/64x] Tough As Nail [MC1.12]). All rights not reserved. I authorize to copy and modify this without mentioning the author.
I also gave a link on the mod page
