got a tundra wolf textured tamed dog and brought it through the nether it then turned into a brown wolf is this meant to happen or a bug just curious

If that is the case it sounds like a bug from OptiFine, you'd need to report it on OptiFine's bug tracker: https://github.com/sp614x/optifine/issues
