Is the texture packing going to be updated to the 1.16 for bedrock?

Yes. There's no ETA though.

We'll announce on our Twitter and Discord when the update is available.

Hello,

Thanks for your work, your creations are amazing.
Do you have any information regarding the availability of the update ?

Since the 1.16 bedrock update I can't even use the resource pack without getting the game to randomly crash... Also there is a strange graphic issue with bows wore by skeletons.

I'm sorry if I disturb you, but I saw a comment of 2 weeks ago of Vanilla Craft updating soon, I just bought it and it hasn't been updated yet. I just wanna ask when is it coming out the update for 1.16.1 in bedrock, because I love the texture and I love your work, keep it up like that guys.

There is no new information. If there were, like I said before, we'd have announced it on our Twitter and Discord.

We understand you really want an update, but piling in asking for when it's coming won't speed it up.

OK, so I created an account just to respond to HanFox's defensiveness...

Maybe I missed something, but my impression of the development process of this release is that it was available as alpha after alpha, beta after beta, rc after rc, dating back to almost February. It's not like Mojang said "SURPRISE!" one Tuesday and dumped a ton of new features into the wild and pack creators had no time to react.

I agree with your refusal to post timelines (software's hard, timelines slip, and people treat them as promises), but you've got to admit it's at least understandable people who purchased this pack are upset at it lacking textures for all the new items. Hell, it's still for purchase on the store!

I'd LOVE to go back to using Vanilla, and Pure is just a bit too different for my tastes (though I _did_ buy it the moment it was update for 1.16, because I want to support that, and I wanted to give it a shot after my time with Vanilla). It just sort of sucks that my 7yo and I started a new survival world after the nether update dropped and we just beat the Ender Dragon last weekend, using either Faithful or Creator's or Lithos the entire time because our previous favorite pack is now unsuitable given we're kitted out in all netherite gear.

So yeah, I know the constant haranguing by the community is gonna bother you, but do you best to ignore it, or at least not reply defensively (six posts is "piling on"? Have you _used_ the internet?). The posters are here because they love the pack and I'm willing to bet they're a little disappointed this wasn't handled in the four months of prerelease versions leading up to June.

Don't worry though, you're in good company... ZigZag and Chroma Hills aren't update yet either (though at least in the case of ZigZag, I get the impression their resourcing is far beneath BDcraft's).

P.S. - I followed you all on Twitter the moment it was suggested as the right outlet, but let's just say I've been a little relaxed in my keeping up-to-date on Twitter in the past month or so, for hopefully obvious reasons.

It isn't about "being surprised" it's about working on 2 (or 3 packs) for 2 versions of the game during a development phase where Mojang change things, and even remove things.

We generally only work on Pure during those times to keep a handle on what's happening.

I was being overly general when I said piling on. This isn't the only thread on the forum asking for an update, and besides the forum there's also Twitter and Discord.

I personally believe developers have a right to be defensive, or short, or plainly upset, when constantly asked for updates especially whilst in this exact thread I've posted the current status already.

As I stated before, we know you want an update. We appreciate you're excited, and even may find it hard to play without it, but it still takes time and no amount of asking will change that.
