Damaged Tools Addon

Hey! I downloaded the 1.8 version of PureBDcraft and it added the damaged tools addon even though I didn't download it. I downloaded it again without downloading the damaged tools addon again and it did the same thing. How can I fix this?

I'm not sure exactly what you've downloaded as the MC1.8 packs don't have any of the Damaged Tool textures.
The addon didn't even exist until I made it for MC1.10.
Can you show a screenshot of the zip contents?

So after further investigation it appears you're right about the damaged tools. Evidently I totally forgot about when they were created.
I didn't realise they were in the main pack as part of OptiFine/MCPatcher support.
If you want to remove them you'd need to open the zip and delete:
