Minecraft 1.16.5, modified - Enigmatica 6 - E6 - 1.16.5
Forge 36.0.45
Optifine 1.16.5 HD U G7
Active Resource Packs:
-PureBDcraft 256 MC116
-BDcraft Font MC116

windows 10; 32G ram

running with 12g to minecraft.

I've tried lots of combinations even down to only the BDcraft 256 as the only active pack. I tried 512x with similar results, as you can see I don't think it is a memory issue. Tail of the log attached:

This appears to be an issue with a mod. I do not know which one.

You'll need to go through your mods (probably ones that add walls) and try disabling them to see if the error goes away.

When we know which mod is the cause it can more easily be debugged.

The issue is the Connected Textures Mod in Enigmatica 6.

I am no expert in Java or Minecraft mods, but I have been having the same issues, and after looking up a number of the messages it may be related to this bug in the 1.16 version:

https://github.com/Chisel-Team/Connecte ... issues/149

Disabling the CTM mod reduces the warnings drastically and BDCraft textures load fine.

Im sorry to revive this after a year but is there any way round this? I always use sphax and am trying to use chisel in 1.16, which now has CTM as a requirement. Ive tried deleting the problem files (every .json file in minecraft:block/_bdc/plank/_all/) and that does let the game load in exchange for every plank related thing having no texture. Im a bit stuck as to how I might fix this issue so thought id atleast ask :)

You also need to delete all the plank related files in:

Code: Select all

/assets/minecraft/blockstates/
It would be better to bring this up with the Chisel devs and see what they've done to break the game though.

If we use vanilla functions, and then mods break them, it's on the mods to fix them... then again I generally get the impression most mod makers just do not care. It's one of the reasons I quit playing modded Minecraft

Update: After much experimenting I have found deleting the blockstate files for planks and the stairs/slabs of the planks and deleting "template_wall_side.json" in models/block allows the game to load and without any missing textures that I can find. Thanks for letting me know about the blockstates
