Oh, hello there! I hear you like modded Minecraft and BDCraft textures...
Hello friends and fellow Minecraft + BDCraft fans!My name is StickerMonster, and I'm an artist here at BDCraft. I fell in love with this community a long time ago because, like you, I am a huge fan of Sphax's designs and was so impressed with the attention and care that this community puts into supporting mods so that we can have the BDCraft experience no matter what kind of server we like to play on.
This place is special because you guys make it special, and I want to make sure you know how much we appreciate you all!
I've been lurking and reading here for a while and I want you to know that I see you and I hear you. You need some support and help from us so that you guys can keep on doing the amazing work you all do, as well as connect with others who you might be able to collaborate with or find people with skillsets to make your mod goals a reality.
So, keep an eye on this thread. I will be posting updated guides, links, repositories, and FAQs about how to create modpacks and textures in the BDCraft style, with a goal to eventually be on creating some video tutorials.
If you have feedback or suggestions, please let me know--after all, this is for you guys, so I want to make sure these guides and tutorials are as useful and accessible as possible.
With all that said, here are my current goals:
- Make image guides to help facilitate making resource packs for mods in the BDCraft style. There will be guides for Pure, Vanilla, and Grunge.
- Create a GitHub repository with all the information and files needed to get you started (and finished!) in making resource packs.
- Create an updated directory of the existing patches.
- Eventually make a tutorial video series that will teach some basics in digital art and Minecraft texturing, with a focus on using free and open source software and assets.
