The top and bottom textures of deepslate ores look out of place or "unrealistic" (if that can be a thing, in a game )

If a piece of deepslate has ore in it, I would expect the top and bottom of the blocks to look the same as normal deepslate, except with the ores visible.

The new item frame texture is making it difficult to see some items. Especially at a distance...

This is how Mojang designed it. Deepslate is a column whilst the ore is not, so the top/bottom of the deepslate is different to it's side, but the ore only uses the side.

The item frame colours should be fairly similar to Mojang's, but I see now that the darker background isn't quite right.

I also notice the rotten flesh colours don't quite match.

I'll take a look at tweaking colours for next release.

I wondered about that. Bummer...

Okay. If it's easy for you to compare the 1.17 and 1.18 release side by side, you might see a significant difference.

There are other items which are more difficult to see as well. Those are just two examples.

Thanks for looking into it.

Just noticed, the Smoker block is based off the classic PureBDcraft textures and doesn't really match the VanillaBDcraft aesthetic. The cobble and fire are both portrayed in older textures while the Furnace is updated in comparison in its entire look. It's also a lower framerate for some reason, but I couldn't send a gif so I hope this is enough to help. I don't know if the Blast Furnace also has this issue but I only noticed it with the Smoker. I also noticed that VanillaBDcraft still probably uses the old wheat aesthetic, and that the current PureBDcraft wheat matches more overall. Just wanted to point these out in-case it helps, loved VanillaBDcraft for a long time and I'm glad it's been getting more attention recently! Much love.

Thanks for the feedback. We'll look to get the issues addressed for next release :)
