hi started to develop an issue where when i exit Minecraft and open it back up my resource pack had changed back to default getting a bit annoying now as every time i have to set my settings again.

hope someone can shed some light on this.

It's possible that the game is confused about the requirements, and whilst letting it load originally when reloading thinks it's not possible.

Try turning the resolution down as described in the "Crashes / Changing Resolution" section of our help thread:
