Health Overlay (Forge)

I would really like either some help in understanding how to do textures for mod since this one looks like a simple copy paste and change the color of the original health bars, I have tried a few things but I failed.

Looks like I found out how to was working and are slowly working on making this.
EDIT 2:
This can now be moved to WIP.
I have made some really work in progress textures for this mod. They are not the best, but it does resolve my issue with having vanilla hearts in the UI.
