I'm happy to use some textures:armor tools essence and fatigue and mana bars. Although I will only use the vinteum ore(looks pretty good), as the rest of my textures look more Sphaxy. I hope u are alright with me editing a few, just to make more sphax looking.

@ Eunomiac - They do a fair job as placeholders, and I can tell you what mods they came from for the most part, if you like.

Only thing is, do you have 128x versions? 64x is rather small...

Please, feel free to use, edit, not-use and/or cast aspersions on any of them, for any reason---I fully expect to replace my textures with the complexed Sphax textures once they're done, as I like the Sphax style (I'm just terrible at mimicking it).

I'm glad you like the Vinteum Ore; that was probably the only one I might have kept. Another texture I'm partial to is Sunstone Ore---I think Sunstone Ore shouldn't appear in standard Stone, since it typically appears around lava in the Nether (where grey Stone looks out-of-place). I used a meteor rock texture from the Hexxit pack as the base for mine, though I couldn't for the life of me tell you which mod specifically (the meteors mod? with the meteor finder and the... erm... meteors?)

Unfortunately I don't, I only use 64x textures myself, and I didn't expect to be sharing these when I initially created them. I'm also a little uncomfortable with how I brazenly stole textures from wherever I could find them without credit or permission, and putting them up as "64x only" made me feel better about cementing them in as temporary placeholders. And I'm not very familiar with vectors, so I do everything in raster, which doesn't make for nice resizing, alas :(

On the bright side, I think the GUIs and the armor models are the right size, and they look rather good in-game (I just need to shorten the mana/fatigue bars a bit so a full bar actually fills the bar---the original mod textures for the "bar" and the "fill" are different sizes and don't actually line up, so I think Mithion's doing some resizing in the code that's a bit tricky to figure out).

If there's a particular texture you especially like, let me know and I'll redo it in 512 (most of them are done using recolors and blending effects, so I should be able to reproduce them). Would downsizing a 512x rasterized texture to smaller sizes effectively "fake" vector work, or is actual vector work the only way to truly Sphaxify them?

I personally use GIMP for resizing because I have a plugin called BIMP where I can change the size of images in an entire folder :D

@Eunomiac, if you are able to redo the items i had mentioned in my post to 128x that would be great. I'm fine if you don't want to. As for the sunstone, I did not know that sunstone spawned in the nether. In that case i can but a Netherrack stone on the already existing one.

I quite like the concept of somoe of eunomiac's textures, they just need a bit of cleaning and neatening. But keep them going eunomiac, I don't have the best imagination to come up with good looking textures, usually resorting to geometricism. So I'll probably use yours as a base and clean them :D

Sparkst3r, have you checked out the old Ars Magica 1 textures in the forum archives? I think they mesh well with the textures from Sillyman and may help to get a theme idea together. I will do what I can to help you two but I'm not exactly the best with the textures.

Ummm, ok??

Anyway guys, I have a small announcement that may make a few people happier. My mariculture patch is coming very well and am very much through it. If you guys wanna check out how my sphaxing is, go to mariculture patch! I am going to start working on this patch a little bit more. As you probably know Sparkst3r has been a great help and much of the credit to this patch will go to him.
