Here ya go - the storage barrel textures were missing - I've included them with this download
Uh, I downloaded that file just to check it out. Looks like you partially combined mine with an older one which was totally the wrong thing to do. Plus you didn't even include my biggest change, working barrel textures. The ones you do have in there are old, and no longer used.

If you want my patch barrels and all, don't download that file. Download this one. The only thing it's missing from the older patches that still works (still exists in the mod) are the ceramic molding hammers, because I find their vague graphics counter intuitive to their function currently.

I don't know why, but there's been a trend of people releasing texture patches for all-be-it minor mods only in 64x when most major mod patches have at least 128x. It's not like batch resizing on the cheap is an issue. GIMP can do it withe plugin.

Oh well, I guess my 128x mod pack patch will have some blocky-ish looking Factorization items. If it really bothers me, I'll likely trace some 512's based off these 64's, just for completeness.
Resize trouble?

In my case I couldn't really use anything higher than 64x for the longest time, so I never bothered with anything higher. Now I have so many customized textures for personal use that I don't really look forward to recreating them at a higher resolution.

I only supplied my personal 64x Factorization WIP here because it's one of the most under supported mod patches. I'd love for this to get a 100% Sphaxified version in the future, as I've only put together what I personally use from the mod itself.

Seems to be the way it is much of the time for alot of ppl. Guess I just like backing everything up so I can do quality control later; even the extreme high res stuff. Oh well, I'll get back to this when I have time unless someone else manages a full 512 or 128 work up; is lots of work, I imagine.

Would anyone in here know why the barrels from this texture patch would cause flickering barrels? No other texture has issues, just the barrels.

Are you talking about the original wip patch barrel textures or mine? Mine use the Mods new display method, and I've never seen them flicker. If your using Optifine, it's probably the issue.

GreyGhost,

I am referring to your most recent update from 12/28/13. Optifine is being used, and I have gone through all the video card optimization settings I could find where Optifine was causing flickering. I attempted to use the patch on two different computers one with 1 GTX 560 TI and the other with 2 GTX 560 TI in SLI. Ram for each computer is at 16GB. Through Technic launcher I have allocated 10GB RAM for MC on both computers. Both run the mod pack flawlessly with the exception from the flickering barrels. The wood texture on the barrels is fine, the issue lies in the metal banding and front face plate that wrap the barrels themselves.

Either way, I don't really expect a resolution through here as it isn't really anyone else's issue but my own. Thanks for the reply Grey, much appreciated.

Hi All!!!

Sorry for the question, but I'm looking everywhere and can't find the answer.

I have Tekkit Lite 1.6.4, and I'm looking for bdcraft texture pack for Factorization 0.8.23, I've downloaded a bunch of files, but non of them work, some of them only have 2 files inside, items and blocks... but still missing tons of items.

Can someone help me with this... but the way its on 128x.

Thank you.

I don't believe tekkit lite is 1.6.4 - it's 1.5 - I also don't think Factorization was made for 128x; only 64x. You can either download the tekkit lite pack that's put out in the 'releases for mods' section or just rename the 'assets' folder to 'mods' - I believe that works, but, you will have to double check them with the original files to make sure they match. If you go into your tekkit lite folder and then into the folder that says mods, you should find factorization - open that up in a zip program and you should see the file structure - just make sure your texture pack lines up with what's in there ;)
