Hmm, OK. I will have a look next week when I get back to it, I'm on my tablet so can't check for now. I know I can save as PNG in various denominations, I just kept them the same as what the original was, so as to not mess anything up.

@NUTCASE71733
Thanks for the advice on the eyes. But as for coloration there is not difference between male and females in the pack, like it's straight up just one model for both

----
Also had to take a break because of school but I'm gonna get some more done on this in the coming week. The slowest part has been doing the spino first cause their texture is enormous when you convert it so making guides is painstaking. I'm tempted for the next skins to see if I make guides first if they will resize with image resize.

Ive done the Quagga and I'm working on the Coelacanth right now. They do take a long time to do, even the small ones. they are all pretty big really, and the detail is hard to do if they are to small.

Ah ok I thought there was a male and female aspect before. I must've mistaken a feature of jurassicraft for the F/A mod then.

About half of the Dino's have variants, some have as many as 3, but its some kind of randomisation, and some are rarer than others, but there are no males and females, Minecraft doesn't really do genders!

I cant even relate to them being too small for detail work because my spino is chillen at 1024 by 1024.
I'm going to do the plessie second but I've gotten more work on the spino. I did have to install the mod though because it's not clear what body parts are which so I have to dummy color them to get a key basically

Oh and yes there are variations for many of the dinos but there aren't any variations for spinos or I believe plessies

With spinosaurus I wouldn't expect there to be any variations since as far as we know they lived only in north africa. They had cousins such as baryonyx and suchomimus, the former having had fossils discovered not just in great britain but africa as well (they might have been in many places around europe given this) so they would likely have variations depending on climate. But certainly not Spinosaurus itself.

oh hey sorry for the double post (technically not since my last comment was hours ago) but while I was on the minecraftforum thread for the F/A revival mod they were debating about the model used for spinosaurus. Apparently they are utelizing the new projected image of spinosaurus as a quadrupedal therapod, but the problem is that it is pretty unlikely spinosaurus was a quadruped considering that evolution can't do such a drastic change for only one animal. Since dinosaurs descended from four-legged archosaurs and the therapods were bipedal exclusively the new idea of spino being a quadruped violates a law in evolutionary theory in which is that reverting to a previous state just cannot be done. To cite an example, the famous extinct bird the Dodo had few natural enemies but european settlers and rats they brought to their region lead to their extinction. Due to their lack of need to escape predators they had no reason to fly and over time their wings de-evolved. Even if they had the time it would be impossible for their wings to grow back, besides evolution doesn't work by conscious thought anyhow.

By this Spinosaurus could not be a quadruped, and the idea pitched for this new look is only just in the process of peer review anyhow. I dunno if spino was made quadrupedal as of 1.7.10 or not but it's worth mentioning this so you don't end up making an incorrect texture.

Uh. I can confirm that the spino used in the mod is bipedal.

Ok I figured I'd mention this in case it wasn't, glad I had the mind to mention that.
