Image
Image I have compiled a W.I.P. set of custom textures for items and blocks. Items are very easy to spawn in, but whislt knowing the name of the item. For example: i have an iron sword, i put it in an anvil and rename it "Candy".(Case Sensitive) Blocks are only spawnable through world edit, by far thats all i know. Example: set your region. lets say your block is obsidian. type "//set obsidian:1" also there is obsidian 2 and 3.

I'm not listing all of them sorry, look in the cit folder for items and ctm for blocks.
There are many items and blocks that are listed below:

Items: Diamond Sword=Slimed, Blood Diamond, Eye of Ender
Iron Sword: Candy, Glass
Wooden Sword: Baconator
Golden Sword: Candy King

Blaze Rod: Magic Wand
Gold Bar: Sphax Bar, Sphax Key
Cooked Porkchop: Raw Bacon
e.t.c

Blocks: Hell Rock: 87:1-4
Oak Planks: 5:4-13

I'm Planning To Add Lots More, But This Is A Good Start!

P.S. I'd like some help & would like a new topic under texturepacks called: Texture Add-ons(Default)

Can I ask what the purpose of this is? Are these just alternate textures?

Yes, it is. Its just a start of something i want to get big. For adventure map makers, this would be great, you could have keys and still be able to have a gold ingot. It may be kind of pointless, but to me, more is better. Note: I'll be working on custom enchant textures and damaged tools by durability.

It looks like some of your textures were taken from other artists, like the bacon. Make sure if you take textures, that you credit the artists. I'll see what Sphax thinks about an "alternate textures" topic, for those who want to add their own flavor to the existing textures.

Before adding any new forum or topic, could you make your first post a lot more user-friendly please?
With a better presentation (screenshots for example) and a better explanation, I'm sure that could be something cool ;)
currently I'm not sure to understand the point...

Why would someone would like to make his diamond sword a candybar for example? That would only be something for Adventure Map Makers?

If so, something cool would maybe be some sort of a textures pool where anyone (any artist) would be able to submit the modified or home made textures in the PureBDcraft style in the pool and then anyone would be able to search, pick, modify and integrate it in a Mod-Support patch and/or resubmit the modified texture to the pool?
If you like a post give it a diamond! :arrow_heading_up:
Have you tried Cubik?

I really like the idea of the pool of textures, would be very helpful.

I also love that idea sphax.
Remember, fighting is not always the answer. Sometimes words can be more powerful than any weapon. Unless, of course, that weapon is a flame-thrower, or a side winder missile. Or really any type of rocket propelled...

*due to content of OP moved thread to WIP*

The pool makes a lot of sense and it'd not be overly hard to do.

It'd have to be user-submitted (but moderated to some degree) where a picture is uploaded/linked from elsewhere and then just have tags applied to it like "sword", "candy", etc. Then when someone else searches they can just search the keywords they want.
