I use 64x (downloaded from first post) with Minecraft 1.64 and I get this (see below) with both Mekanism 6.0.5.46 and Mekanism 6.0.4.44 (black GUI on the sides) and with no other mods installed except for Forge. I check the texture pack used and it does show the correct files in assets\mekanism\gui\elements.
I only seem to have this issue with basic/advanced/elite factory.

It seems to be an issue with the mod because also when I use the default Minecraft texture pack I seem to have a dark GUI on the sides for factories, but not for other ones.

I've never seen that before, do you use optifine, if so can you try without it?

?? I wrote " with no other mods installed except for Forge" , so the answer is "no", I have no Optifine installed.

"I've never seen that before"

Have you actually tried it with any of the factories (Note that the problem is with the factories only!) or are you just making assumptions now?
Mind you, I'm using Minecraft 1.64, Forge 1.6.4-9.11.1.965, Java 7u65 (latest version) and Mekanism 6.0.5.46 (I even tried Mekanism 6.0.4.44), you might use a completely different setup.

I even renamed my Minecraft folder and reinstalled Minecraft from scratch using the same versions and continue to have black sides in the GUI with either the default texture pack or the one posted in this thread. The problem is not with me, it's with the mod or Forge.

People who are trying to help are actually taking the time to READ what people write instead of being disrespectful and quickly skipping over things people are writing down, because I clearly stated "with no other mods installed except for Forge".

Forget about.... I already solved it myself and I even designed/added the stuff missing from the texture pack. That's what I don't get about many people on this forum, they often claim they'll make a texture pack, yet they seldom finish it, even after a year or so they're still "working" on it, while I've fixed many incomplete texture packs in a matter of hours.

Useless noobs.... sigh.

i'd hate to get respect for being "brutially honest" but i would like to see you make a sphax texture pack like this and keep it up to date AND remodel the textures to fit the solar panel. it's not easy and it's not hard either.

IT'S JUST TIME CONSUMING.

if you want to do the whole texture pack yourself FINE. just don't call these people who pour their heart and soul into these things noobs. it's just pure disrespectful.

i even made a mistake by skipping over some text in a previous post but i didn't reply with negative feedback i just apologized for my stupidity and left it at that.

ok enough rage. i'd like to know HOW you fixed this "bug" because if you had it maybe others have it to and want to know? it would be useful infromation.

thank you and sorry for being an ass...

JebKerman,

EDIT: for person below me (stupidity and memoryloss didn't read your name too sorry :P)

yeah it's just it's so annoying seeing people complain when if they had to do it they'd fu**ing give up on the first day...

...so annoying...

so...so annoying...

Don't take the bait from the troll, Hanfox will clear this up, some people are simply beyond help.

I was very torn with whether to delete or edit anything and ultimately I see no reason.

jmiles11 is just a prime example of the lurkers of any community. They expect things, but don't give back. They're childish and immature. If he's "fixed/completed" so many packs why has he never been here before to post his work? Is it because the textures done in a couple of hours aren't very good?

I think the core of the community have seen what rushed textures are like and we'd much rather have a patch take a long time by someone who cares then have new people throw-up all over the forum.

Like I said, I was tempted to remove stuff, but it's nice to see people stand up for others and the community. So I'd rather not remove things.

Suffice it to say though that the issue is closed. Let's move on ;)
