LakMoore, I have just updated those downloads you referenced. There is now a load more textures in there. It is still not fully complete but a load better.

Sounds good - I will take a look. Thank you.

I have, since writing my first post, merged the 1.7.x pack referenced by OP with some more "Sphaxy" versions (obviously only my opinion) of some of the items from the 1.6.4 pack linked to on page two of this thread.

I have then branched the pack to create a downgraded 1.6.4 version, which I need. The crops have 3 stages of growth in the older version of the mod and 4 stages in the newer version. If you use the new pack on the old code the crops never appear fully mature.

I feel the title of this thread is misleading as the links in OP do not provide a pack for the version in the thread title. Was going to start a new thread with links to a 128x pack for both versions. As well as a list of the textures that still need work. As I am new to the forum can you advise whether a new thread would be the correct way forward?

I will check out your work before doing anything else.

Cheers

If you would like to take over the patch I can change the first poster to be you instead of Fanta, who hasn't been on since 2014. Then you can update the first post as you see fit.

That sounds like a good solution too.

Don't want to take any credit away from the OP and subsequent contributors. Their input has been far greater than mine. Happy to take it under my wing.

Cheers

Crickey... lots of new items!!!

What version of the mod is this intended for? Looks like 1.7.10k, can you confirm?

The Jelly's have changed.

Being an Englishman the new Jelly looks more like the Jelly I would expect to see (Jello to the Americans) but I don't believe this is the kind of Jelly that you would put in a sandwich, which you can do in this mod. I think the Jelly in Pam's is supposed to be what we would call Jam, which is not what the new image depicts.

Does anyone agree with me? Or strongly disagree?

There are two decent versions of the pie's too:

I prefer version A and it matches the Pumpkin Pie from the main pack:

Version B more closely resembles the pies from Vanilla MC.

What do you guys think?

Being an Englishman as well that's why I changed it to the new type. There are enough bottled looking items in the patch already. As for the pies, do what you feel is good.

The pack is based off Pams last 1.7.10 version 1.7.10Lb.

Personally if I was to continue on with this patch I'd do the missing textures first rather than screwing around with what has already been finished. Then once a Sphax style patch is complete go back and adjust the things you don't like. That's just me though.

Whatever you choose, good luck. I look forward to seeing a completed patch soon.

Agreed and understood.

The new Jelly's look great and are definitely Sphax style. They do a good job of distinguishing between a Jelly and a Juice. Let's keep them and I will copy them back into 1.6.4 too.

I doubt the patch will be complete "soon"... the mod is huge! :-)

I will try to bring the OP up to date this weekend.

Good things take time, like fine wine and cheese :P

I think most people would rather you take your time and not rush it so when you're finished it'll be awesome rather than rush it and release it quickly and have it sub standard.

As a Kiwi the new jelly looks awesome, much better than jelly juice like it did before lol

Keep up the good work :)
