The OP is the Origional Post, thus the one made my the patch maker.
It is not a stupid question, don't worry.

So here's my attempt at essence of observation. I make no claims to be an artist but hopefully this inspires someone. I can't seem to get the image thing to display so here's a link:

I know it still has to be animated but this is just a preliminary. Tell me what you think!

Also thanks Rockawill for the clarification. I'm completely new at this!

Alright, not sure how "noisy" these might be, but I worked on the unobserved and fuzz animations. Again, please tell me what you think:

Not sure if this is what we're going for, but it's an idea.

Also going to work on essence of observation again, since I didn't like how it turned out last time.

Edit: realized that the unobserved block was a 6-frame animation so modified it accordingly. If you downloaded the original you will have to re-download.

the essence is a nice style, but the middle bit looks a bit off imo. ill have a go asap. also, i really like the blocks so i think they can go in the patch. :)

Glad you liked the blocks! :) It took me a while to get a sense of randomness but I like how they turned out.

I would agree with your thoughts on my essence of observation. I think I'll need to start that over again and see what comes out. Interested in seeing your idea!

Also for the gui for the glasses, would it make sense to keep pretty much the same style as in the original? If we make it too fancy then I think it might take away from the patch.

Alright, here's my attempt at the gui for the quantum computer and the goggles. I went with the same theme as many patches for the computer and tried a hexagonal mosaic for the goggles:

Let me know what you think! I'm still not sure about the quantum computer. I think it may have to be altered to look more quantum. Any input would be appreciated!

Edit: found the stretching that people seem to be talking about so may have to edit the goggle guis. If anyone has any idea how to fix the stretching let me know. Otherwise I know how to fix the missing hexagon sides (if you try it in minecraft you will see what I mean).

For your GUI all that needed to be done was take into consideration most people now use a 1080p screen of some sorts. Create the image in 1920 x 1080 and then resize to 1024 x 1024 and you get this.

Tried in game and it seems ok on my screen. :)
If anyone would like to take over any of my threads please contact me. I will continue to host what I have done but expect no further updates.

Cool. I dad the exact same idea for the goggles, I just couldn't work out how to make them (I'm not the most experienced with Photoshop. I've had some weird issues with the layering of styles and stuff, but I'll have another go soon.
The real trick is animating it...
