Nah, my enthusiasm will fade and the texture quality will fade with it. (Points to the thaumcraft 3 thread and the thaumcraft 2 thread on the old forum)

Bravo Spanky! Thanks for keeping this alive. I have so much stuff to do at school, I can't get on with doing this. Can't wait to get back from school tomorrow. Viva la weekend!

Nice work all! I'm about to take caden's wand PSD and make variants for the wand cores, thought I'd post that in case someone's already gotten started on it!

Oh, sure, me vs. Van Gogh. Spoiler alert: Me loses :P After all, I just came away from Photoshop after slapping a Blaze Rod over top of the wand PSD, frustrated because I couldn't figure out how to arrange the layers to make it stop looking like a road flare ;)

If you're working on the Silverwood core, I had one idea that is far beyond my menial skills but might look rather nice: a double-helix of quicksilver tendrils starting at the tip of the wand (emerging out from under the wand cap), spiralling down and around the surface of the silverwood core, steadily tapering off until they disappear at around the midpoint of the wand---just an added bit of bling for the current top wand :)

Have you uploaded the wand cores you've completed anywhere?

I've made a custom 64x (ish) support, all credit goes to those who made the textures. I have altered a few textures of stuff to make support, they kind of look meh so you'll know its mine. Even with meh, it'll do for those who want support while the real texture artists are at work.
Kind of new to dropbox so hopefully this link works:
