General help with our resourcepacks, our website, or Minecraft - including mods.

About a year ago, there was a Minecraft video on Youtube that was using the PureBDCraft texture pack, and there was a large area of chiseled stone bricks (aka circle stone bricks), and a scant few o the blocks were tinted rainbow colors. I can only assume that was caused by Connected Textures, but I can't reproduce it in current BDCraft packs, and there is no sign of it among the files. Is this something that was removed, or was it created by something different?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Help! Some of the connected textures aren't working, but others are working perfectly. What could cause this? I just add the "assets" folder to my texture pack, right?

The chiseled stone bricks (of course) and the workbench I know for sure didn't work, and the wooden planks and smoothstone did work.

Found the problem! Some of the ".properties" files were incorrectly named; I got the right names from the "/textures/blocks" folder. Works now!
