Minecraft defaults even after you selected your Texture Pack
- What's happening is Minecraft doesn't have enough RAM to store the textures in memory, so it defaults. Mods are a big factor here. 128x textures with no mods, should run on 2 - 4 gigs of RAM, however if you're running a mod pack, useage can jump to 4 - 8 gigs in an instant or even more. This is all dependant on how many mods are installed. Since 128x is the recommended resolution, I felt it was necessary to use it as the test case instead of 64x - ~90% of users don't have issues running 64x.

Your folder is either located at ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft or wherever it says in the Profile in your Launcher.

For users running Windows 10, the path to the .minecraft and .technic is marginally different. The default install path is now {Drive Letter}\Users\{Username}\AppData\Roaming\{.minecraft or .technic}. The appdata folder can still be reached by typing %appdata% into the Cortana box on the taskbar though.
1.13 BDCraft worked fine for me, but it crashed my wife's computer even with the 32x version. I ended up editing out BDCraft as a resource pack in her options.txt files so she could play, then I went to work on what I suspected to be the problem. 1.13 Faithful 2.1 worked fine.
After much "update all the everything including drivers", BDCraft worked for her. One of the players on my server had a similar crash-out problem. Same solution. Keeping the OS and graphics drivers up-to-date seems pretty key here before thinking about bugs in BDCraft. It wasn't BDCraft, it was needed updates.

I had an issue with selecting the resourcepack and the logo was red. Simply delete the fonts folder in the resourcepack directory and it should work

As already answered on Discord, but in case anyone else comes here looking:
Delete the /assets/minecraft/font folder. The ttf seems to crash some users.
