Custom item textures with MCpatcher
So MCpatcher has a new custom item texture feature and I'm hoping that sphax will support this in the future, I don't really know what it enables but it seems like it has taken textures to a whole new level. Taking a diamond pickaxe for example, I can imagine it looking more and more worn the closer it gets to breaking, and then looking completely broken on its final durability point. I'm sure that sphax or the community will have some great ideas for this and I look forward to hopefully seeing them in the future.
The idea of changing the texture of some items depending on their durability is very nice!
As soon as I finished updating all resolutions of PureBDcraft and GrungeBDcraft to MC1.6, I'll see what I can do. But I'm sure that the Community will come with cool alternatives.

Can't wait to see this CIT feature fully implemented .
I'd really like to see icicles, rope, chains and spikes like in conquest 32x. In my opinion there should be a set a side additon to sphax adding custom textures of blocks and items
