So, I am currently going to start my youtube channel up, and I was wondering, I have currently made some adjustments to the texture pack, so is it okay if I use it in my videos as long as I don't redistribute it?

Yes, it's fine to use it for videos as long as you don't distribute it.

So, I modified the TP a little bit, if i were to just send it to one of my friends, is that against the guidelines?

If you keep the pack private then it's fine to share it with friends.
