I suggest turning down the saturation of the emeralds, just to make it a little darker.
For the lapis. I think that the white is just a little too contrast, I think you should make the white, light blue, but this is your contribution so you don't have to do anything if you don't want to
Thanks again
Thanks for the suggestion, I toned down the saturation on the emerald blocks and adjusted the highlight on the lapis to lower the contrast... I think it looks better now
I have removed the in-game screenshot for now as I did not have time to reload the new previews in the game, but I will post a new screenshot later when I finished a couple more blocks.

I've offered to help Rockawill out with getting the Chisel mod textures "Sphaxified" since there are a lot
I will be posting previews here as I progress.
I've been a graphic designer for a couple of years now, but this is my first go at texturing, so any feedback will be appreciated.
Thanks

I'd like to continue what Bonaire Dreams was saying. Sphax is a cartoony texture pack. Your textures are amazing, but they don't have that cartoony feel and texturing. You have missed a few key points, like shading. Have a look around at other patches. I recommend also seeing the default emerald block for sphax minecraft. All I'm saying is they look too realistic and don't seem to have the right colours.

I get the "too realistic" part... That's why I asked for feedback and that's why I will keep on trying until I get it right.
I will have some more time tonight after work, I'll approach this differently and hopefully get it right this time.

Don't put yourself down shadowl33ch,
I really like them, just need to see how they fit in game.
In other news I have finished the bookshelfs but they have connected textures which I didn't account for so some of them look a bit silly in game.
Will try to fix as best as I can and post tonight if possible

Ok, so this week ended up being busier than I hoped, but I played around a bit and came up with the following... I matched the colors to the block of emerald from the original Sphax textures and more or less copied the shading effects as far as I could make it out.
Please let me know what you guys think?

(Not necessarily a block design that I will use in the final set, had limited time and just played around with an idea)
Thanks

Agreed with Bonaire.
Looks perfect.
Shadowl33ch, have you seen the connected textures?
You may want to test out all the items before you do them, ingame.

Yeah I've seen them but not sure how their textures work, I will definitely test them in-game... so far the blocks I've been working on have just been normal textures.
I will post an update as soon as possible, I will have more time over the weekend... this week was crazy, glad it's almost over
