I've had issues with that in the past, where I would try to load up multiple texture packs to fill in update gaps... Like say they had different cobblestones, the game would randomly load both of them in a given cluster of cobblestone. Is that like a setting somewhere that I'd been missing?

So I'm a big fan of the sphax style, but also a big fan of sticking to vanilla-ish because it makes builds' colors and stuff match up for people who don't use texture packs.
