Try reading the How to Install guide on page one. You need to download the PueBDcraft textures for the base pack separately.

After a quick google it appears OpenGL error is quite common. Are you using Optifine? If so, try disabling it. It seems multiple different things can cause this OpenGL fault. Are you in single player or a server? Does it only happen around your base? Are you wearing any enchanted stuff that changes ...

Updated the 1.14 downloads to work with the latest version 9.0.0.253. These are not compatible with the earlier alpha versions.

I suspect your video RAM is running out. Make sure you have no other programs that could use video RAM running in the background. If it still won't work then all I can suggest is to use the 64x patch.

The squid does not work because it is 128 x 127. Add another pixel row to the bottom to fix it.

I think I see the problem. In the new version there are included vanilla textures for the ores. As the vanilla Sphax redstone ore is animated it is confused by meta file with this pack.
