In the picture below you can see that the 1.7.5 in bold thinner than in 1.7.2. Why is this?

Without Optifine the signs render correctly (not that I tested it with Optifine). Thus it's an Optifine bug and not a resourcepack bug.

I imagine that Optifine won't be updated again for MC1.7.5 so it's unlikely to get fixed.
